Three Chicago Officers Stripped of Powers for On-Duty Sex
The initial two officers noticed the woman on Wednesday walking and crying. The officers apparently gave her a ride in their marked Chevy Tahoe SUV, and she reported having sex with one in the passenger seat. The three officers apparently went into the woman's apartment, played strip poker, and had sex with the woman.

Officer Honored Posthumously on Anniversary of Death
Father's Day marked the three-year anniversary of the death of a Jackson (Tenn.) Police Department veteran who was killed in the line of duty. Each year since his death, his life has been celebrated during the Blue Knights of Tennessee Poker Run. This year's event made five stops prior to returning to Jackson, reported the Jackson Sun.

The TASER Foundation for Fallen Officers and the Untouchables Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club announced that country music star Mark Wills will perform a benefit concert on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at TASER International headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz. The concert is part of Takin' the Ride Motorcycle Rally Event March 24-26.

Newly released surveillance video shows Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock in the days before he opened fire from his Mandalay Bay hotel room, killing 58 people. The hotel said the images show that Paddock gave no outward indications of the massacre he was planning to carry out.

Well, a couple of weeks ago I blogged about the attempted arrest of a Santa Maria (Calif.) Police officer that resulted in his shooting death. I'd like to think that a vast majority of the few thousand—we keep a running tally—who read the piece at least understood where I was coming.
