Colorado Agency Deploys Citizen Alert Phone App

Citizens can download the free app on their Apple or Android smartphones to be alerted to natural disasters, dangerous weather, missing persons, traffic situations, and local crimes in progress. The app is not available on Blackberry or Windows phones yet but plans are underway for a release in the near future.

N.H. Department Deploys Notification App

March 19, 2012
The Manchester (N.H.) Police Department will begin supporting Ping4's Citizens Alerts app, a notification tool that brings a variety of public safety alerts to smart phones within a jurisdiction.
