Lake Assault Boats to Build Versatile Patrol and Emergency Response Craft for PA Unit
The City of Pittsburgh (PA) River Rescue Unit has selected Lake Assault Boats to construct a 30-foot EMS river rescue vessel. "This new rescue vessel will respond to just about any emergency – from a medical situation on a river cruise ship, to a SWAT team's mission or a fire on a fishing boat," said Division Chief Raymond S. Everitt.

Segway Announces NYPD Purchase of Segway Personal Transporters
Segway recently announced that the New York City Police Department has purchased a fleet of 10 Segway Personal Transporters (PTs) that it plans to deploy on patrols in city parks this summer.
