Shots Fired: Pinellas County, Fla., Crime Scene
Pinellas County (Fla.) Sheriff's Sgt. Raymond Fleming was among the deputies who pursued Kentin Dion Brooks during his campaign of vehicular terror. Dep. Jeffrey Newman performed the PIT maneuver on the black Mustang, and then Brooks opened up on the officers with a 9mm handgun from behind tinted windows. Watch the dash-cam footage of Pinellas County (Fla.) Sheriff's Dep. Jeffrey Newman, who performed the PIT maneuver on Kentin Dion Brooks' black Ford Mustang on Oct. 28, 2009. Brooks then opened up on the deputies with a 9mm handgun from behind tinted windows. This footage shows rounds fired by the Pinellas deputies exiting the Mustang and striking the grass parkway.

Those who have received notices of revocation from Sheriff Sandra Hutchens include Michael Schroeder, chief political and legal advisor to Carona and a former chairman of the state Republican Party; Adam Probolsky, a GOP pollster; and Stephen Mensinger, a political ally of Carona and business executive for major GOP benefactor and developer George Argyros, public records show.
