At 7:30 p.m. Sunday, the officer began investigating when he heard screams coming from a vehicle. As he interviewed the vehicle occupants, the driver hit the accellerator and dragged the office.

A Plant City (Fla.) PD police officer was dragged about 10 feet by a Corvette she had pulled over early Saturday. The driver of the 2001 Corvette dragged Officer DeeDee Gregory after she reached into his car to turn off the vehicle.

Ariz. Deputy Dragged by Truck Dies 9 Years Later

A Maricopa County (Ariz.) Sheriff's deputy has succumbed to injuries he sustained nine years ago, when he was dragged by a truck in a parking lot. Deputy David Wargo, 39, will be given full honors when he's buried next week. He died Tuesday.

A Wayne County (Mich.) Sheriff's deputy shot and killed a suspect while being dragged by a vehicle during a narcotics sting. Deputies were arresting the suspect when he broke free and attempted to flee with the deputy's arm caught in the driver's door.
