A man armed with three knives stabbed four people Wednesday in the admissions office of Miami-Jacobs Career College. As he tried to flee, he was shot by a police officer. Around the same time, another officer shot him with a stun gun.

A Scottsdale (Ariz.) Police officer fatally shot a man holding a baby who had threatened two people with a pistol earlier on Tuesday. Officer James Peters, a 12-year veteran with the agency, has been involved in seven shootings since 2002.
