The MPRI-Beamhit 390 series is an interactive small arms training system that uses a video training simulator, which provides judgmental shoot/no shoot scenarios, full-sized target engagement, and other skill-building exercises. Officers can use default training videos or create their own using standard video formats such as .avi or .mpeg.

MPRI Sells 12 Driver Simulators to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center
MPRI today announced that the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) has purchased 12 PatrolSim IV driver simulators. The simulators will be used to provide basic training to uniformed police and land management professionals.

L-3 MPRI's Criminal Justice Advisors Support ID/IQ Contract
This multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract will help INL train, staff and implement civilian police and criminal justice assistance programs overseas. L-3 MPRI will be working with Navigator Development Group Inc., which is one of the primary contractors for this program.

Anyone who has ever watched “Star Trek: The Next Generation”—that’s the one with Picard, not Kirk—has probably noticed a special room on the Enterprise called the “Holo-Deck.” The Holo-Deck uses holograms, transporters, replicators, and other unlikely science-fiction technologies to create an immersive virtual reality that can be used by the Enterprise crew for both recreation and ultra-realistic training.
