TASER International announced today that the Salt Lake City Police Department and the Birmingham Police Department have selected Evidence.com to securely store and manage all of the digital evidence from their AXON body cameras and other digital devices. Both departments secured a five-year subscription with Evidence.com in the third quarter of 2014.

New Flash-Bang stun devices from Law Enforcement Technologies create a safer, less violent explosion than traditional devices. Instead of igniting, the aluminum powder particles in the grenade are propelled outward in a cloud when exposed to oxygen in the air. This approach lowers the pressure in the immediate area of the explosion, making injuries less likely and decreasing the risk of accidental fires. The devices are also reusable.
