Indianapolis Officer's Girlfriend Tossed Pistol Out of Cruiser During Dispute
Sgt. Stephen Blinn, a 24-year department veteran, struggled with his girlfriend during a physical altercation during which he fired his Glock .40-caliber service pistol in the vehicle. Blinn didn't point the weapon at his girlfriend, who grabbed it and tossed it out of the cruiser.

Las Vegas Metro PD Takes Delivery of Getac Rugged Tablets
Getac Inc., manufacturer of rugged computers, announced that the Las Vegas (Nev.) Metro PD has ordered 898 Getac rugged tablets for its police force. The department ordered 778 Getac F110 rugged tablets to be installed in its cruisers. Another 120 Getac T800 rugged tablets will be deployed by the department's Motor Division to support traffic control and citations.
