Glacier Tek’s Cool Vest is a product designed for the cop who has to work in the summer in body armor. Cool Vest encloses a set of reusable plastic pouches filled with a non-toxic substance. Glacier Tek says all you have to do is soak the pouches in ice water or place them in the freezer for 20 minutes, put them inside the Cool Vest carrier, then strap it between your vest and your skin, and it will keep your body at 59 degrees Fahrenheit for up to two-and-a-half hours in 100-degree heat.
