N.J.'s Drug Testing for Officers Expected to Curb Steroid Use

Under a plan introduced by the state's attorney general, anabolic steroids and human growth hormone have been added to the list of substances subject to testing. Local departments must fund the tests, meaning they can decide when to carry them out, and even whether or not to do them.

Dallas PD to Begin Testing for Steroid Use

The Dallas Police Department plans to start testing officers for illegal anabolic steroids use on July 1. Police officials said they had been researching incorporating testing for steroids as part of their random drug testing program for at least a year, said Acting Assistant Chief Floyd Simpson.
