Police Motorcycle Skills

The Orange County Traffic Officer's Association drew 500 motor officers to the 2009 edition of its annual police motorcycle skills competition, which nearly doubled in attendance from a year ago. The event included maneuvers such as balancing the bikes, leaning into turns and quick handlebar transitions that are regularly used in real-world patrol situations. MPRI Sells 12 Driver Simulators to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center

MPRI today announced that the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) has purchased 12 PatrolSim IV driver simulators. The simulators will be used to provide basic training to uniformed police and land management professionals.

The vehicle failed to yield, continued at a high rate of speed, and exited the freeway with complete disregard for public safety. At the height of the high-speed chase, the vehicle drove through a crowded school zone, injuring several children and killing four people.
