Dallas Cowboys legend Tony Dorsett teamed up with the Dallas Police Association and local residents to record a public service announcement to say “thank you” to law enforcement and to help raise funds for the Assist the Officer Foundation. The Foundation provides financial assistance to officers who are facing the loss of income due to on-the-job injuries, life-threatening illness or other catastrophic events.

FLEOA Asks NFL to Allow Commemorative Gear in Honor of Fallen Police Officers
Following the attack in Dallas, TX, the NFL denied the Dallas Cowboys football team's request to wear commemorative decals to honor those five police officers gunned down by a sniper. FLEOA released a statement asking the NFL to reconsider its ruling.

Officer Cleared by Grand Jury in Fatal Shooting of Texas Mass Killer
A heavily armed man, later identified as 32-year-old Spencer Hight, was killed in the home he shared with his wife, Meredith, before she filed for divorce last year. Eight others at the home that night for a Dallas Cowboys football watch party were also killed. One woman survived.

For more than a decade, Los Angeles street gangs have been killing about 550 to 600 people in L.A. County each year. What you probably don't know is that Mexican nationals, primarily illegal aliens, murder about an equal amount yearly. Many of these murders involve rivalries and vendettas that originated in states, cities, and ranchos in Mexico. They usually often involve Drug Trafficking Organizations (DTO).

LAPD SWAT Officer Killed in Shootout
The incident began about 9 p.m. Wednesday after a man called a 911 operator and said he had killed three people at a home in the San Fernando Valley. LAPD patrol officers and LAPD SWAT responded, setting up containment on the home.
