California Church Tells Congregation to Stop Calling Police
The church especially wants to avoid calls to police over homeless individuals who are in crisis due to mental health problems, intoxication, drug overdose, or some combination of the three.

Suburban Atlanta Agency Invites Area Clergy to Experience Use-of-Force Training
The Monday afternoon "training" at the Duluth Police Department — which gave clergy members from across metro Atlanta a crack at the same state-of-the-art, "shoot or don't shoot" simulator many real-life officers train with — was part of a new initiative called "One Congregation One Precinct."

During the hours between the initial attack and his 30-victim killing spree, the Virginia Tech gunman mailed a large package containing a manifesto-like diatribe, videos, and photographs to NBC News.

The Aryan Brotherhood—The Dogs of War (Part 2 of 2)

Patron Saints of the Mexican Drug Underworld (Part 1 of 2)
In a strange way, the iconography ties together much of the evil perpetrated by the gangs that are trafficking in drugs and human beings and their violent inhuman behavior. There is a spiritual dimension to their madness and recognition of the signs and symbols of their belief system can help you identify them.

Roots of the Armenian Power Gang
In Los Angeles, the Armenian Power street gang was linked not only to the Sureño alliance and the Mexican Mafia prison gang, but also to their elders in the Armenian organized crime groups. They often victimized members of their own community, and supported the radical politically motivated acts of groups such as the JCAG.

Criminal Gangs and the Occult
No traditional Hispanic gang member I ever knew would have dug up Grandma from her tomb, or desecrated a church altar or a statue of the Madonna.

The Fort Hood Shooter Did Not Act Alone
Sudden Jihad Syndrome has always been there and it will be there for years to come. It is at the heart of Islam and its true followers and it is what I believe drives Hasan and many more like him around the world to explode, behead, destroy and kill many, including other Muslims.

Killer Stops
There is probably no more misunderstood law enforcement duty than traffic enforcement. Cops who perform this duty often think of it as tedious and futile. And the motorists who are pulled over for traffic violations feel like they are being picked on and tapped for fines that fill local government coffers.
