Two Roy High School students have been arrested for plotting to bomb the school and escape in a plane. The Utah teens did not have explosives or a plane, but had blueprints of the school and security systems, as well as hours of flight simulator training on a home computer.

Police said the gunman walked up, shot the officer and then fled on foot before he apparently killed himself nearby. The deceased suspect was not involved in the traffic stop.
