Amtrak Police Officer Charged with Murder in Chicago OIS
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s office said the officer who shot Chad Robertson, 31-year-old LaRoyce Tankson, turned himself in late Thursday, and has been charged with first-degree murder. A judge set his bail at $250,000 Friday afternoon.

Dallas Narco Cop Shot On Amtrak Train
A Dallas Police narcotics officer was wounded in an exchange of gunfire on Monday afternoon with a suspect on an Amtrak train in downtown. Senior Cpl. Samuel Hussey was shot in the hand in the shootout that also resulted in an injury to a bystander. The suspect was killed in the encounter.

The Delaware State Police have established a maritime unit with two new vessels to patrol the state's 100 miles of waterways. The state police are using a $1.6 million federal grant for port security to fund the effort, which employs three full-time troopers.
