Upper body restraint used by an officer who is engaged in a physical confrontation with an active combatant. Made by sliding the left shoulder high into the armpit of the subject taking the subject's left hand and going around his or her neck, then securing their left hand to the right. This protects the officer’s face and throat and gives the officer access to his or her firearm. If the officer is left handed the application process is reversed. Usage: nationwide by trainers.
