Raytheon Infrared Camera
September 01, 2004
The Thermal-Eye 4000B infrared camera from Raytheon was designed to provide public safety officers with a clear view of their surroundings at night, especially for surveillance. The rugged thermal camera can be roof mounted on any vehicle and offers pan/tilt viewing, which is controlled by a joystick. The image is then presented within the vehicle on a flat panel monitor or managed data terminal. The Thermal-Eye 4000B can also be mounted in a fixed position to survey a perimeter.
