An examination of the types of human trafficking occurring in two of Ohio’s largest cities found that child prostitution is more common in Toledo while forced labor is more likely to be identified in Columbus, according to a new RAND Corporation report.

Fifth Avenue Vet to Help Train NYPD K-9 Handlers

The K-9 Unit of the New York Police Department will soon be fully prepared to provide vital immediate first-aid care for their four-legged partners in case of an on-the-job injury or accident. K-9 handlers and officers have been invited to undergo extensive emergency intervention training as a part of the exclusive NYPD Emergency Veterinary Training program, which kicked off with an intensive three-hour course this week.
