Ill. Cop Claims Discrimination

A veteran Peoria (Ill.) Police officer who previously claimed to be the target of a fellow officer's harassment now claims Chief Steve Settingsgaard and his command staff have retaliated against her for speaking out.
Donna Nicholson, an officer for the last 21 years and the vice unit's asset forfeiture officer for a decade, filed a complaint of retaliation and discrimination with the Illinois Department of Human Rights last week. The complaint was confirmed Thursday.
