ICE Chief of Staff Resigns Amid Sex Misconduct Claims

A senior Obama administration political appointee and longtime aide to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano resigned Saturday amid allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior lodged by at least three Immigration and Customs Enforcement employees.

Suzanne Barr, chief of staff to ICE Director John Morton, said in her resignation letter that the allegations against her are "unfounded." But she said she was stepping down anyway to end distractions within the agency. ICE, a division of the Homeland Security Department, confirmed Barr had resigned. The Associated Press obtained a copy of Barr's letter.

Barr is accused of sexually inappropriate behavior toward employees. The complaints are related to a sexual discrimination and retaliation lawsuit filed by a senior ICE agent in May.

She offered to perform sex acts on male employees. Where's the problem? I wish my female boss was just like her.

Frank @ 9/4/2012 5:12 PM

So that's how she made it thru the Glass Ceiling! Just goes to show the human nature side of things. The job stress, drinking, health problems, marriage issues, corruption all the issues men have had are now showing up for the females. The sad part is it ruins it for the females who really deserve to be in their position or trying to perform against a group of males. Nice going Suzanne Barr you just set the female work force back ten years. Unfounded? A forced resignation. You can keep your retirement and we'll put you in another USG job. Any relation to Rosanne? Please raise your hand if you would have enjoyed every dam minute of that position. Don't worry you don't have a chance. It's been filled by an Illegal. It's an appointed position and Barack can put anyone in.

Capt David-Ret LA County @ 9/4/2012 5:35 PM

Hey, Mark Fuhrman from LAPD and the Simpson trial pled guilty to perjury almost citing the same thing.....now he is a multi-millionaire..Well, not sex acts but to end the distractions for his family..

I agree with John above. Where's the problem? Ms. Barr appears to be a young, fun and decent looking blonde. Political correctness/over sensitivity is destroying this country.

she is kind of cute send her my way i can help her out.

If my boss looked like her and made those kind of offers, heck yes! Fun, and a positive career ladder to boot. Why should the women have all the advantages? The guys who reported her should be ashamed and go back home to finish thier housework.

4 million for anoffer like that? Sounds like loads at the end of their careers looking for supplemental retirement income. You're better off being isolated from your employees, that way they can't "misjudge" what you said.
