LAPD Moves To Fire Officers For Rihanna Photo Leak
June 29, 2012
The two Los Angeles Police Department officers accused of leaking a photo of the beaten pop star Rihanna won't face criminal charges but could lose their jobs, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The LAPD has scheduled disciplinary hearings in August for Blanca Lopez, 28, and Rebecca Reyes, 39. Both officers have declined to comment on the case. Prosecutors linked the phone records of Officer Lopez to TMZ.
