A New Jersey detective was killed Monday morning, after a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction drifted across the center line and struck her head-on, as she headed to work in her department-issued Ford Crown Vic.
Tina Rambo, 35, had served with the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office for about 10 years. She was a married mother of two.
The driver of the silver Saturn that struck Rambo's vehicle has been identified as Rachel Portnoy, 24, who was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden with serious leg injuries.
