Paramus (N.J.) Police Officer Rachel Morgan was shot several times while exchanging gunfire with a suspect, who she attempted to pull over for speeding and driving with fictitious plates, reports New Jersey Newsroom.
Officer Morgan, 31, attempted to pull over the driver of a silver vehicle, who then lost control near the Route 17 entrance ramp of the Garden State Parkway.
In the exchange of gunfire with Michael Sean Carmody, Officer Morgan was struck in her ballistic vest and stomach. Another officer also returned fire in a gunfight that involved "considerable" rounds fired.
The officer underwent surgery on Monday, and Carmody was listed in critical condition.

Another puke that shouldn't have been running around loose! Some of these police women are as tough as whang leather. Outstanding job Officer Morgan! We all hope and pray she will fully recover. As far as recovery for her shooter - who cares?

Morgan sounds like one tough officer. I pray for a full recovery soon. We need her back out there! Both officers should be proud of themselves. The suspect, however, is useless human garbage who, let's hope, expires soon before too much tax dollars are spent on it. At the vey least, I hope the nurses used the large catheter.
