Female Officers Share Challenges At Colorado Conference

The Rocky Mountain Women in Law Enforcement hosted a conference this week for female officers and administrators to share their unique challenges in a male-dominated profession, KJCT reports.
Higher-ranking women in departments inspired one officer.
"It's really motivating to see women that have high ranking, as chiefs, captains and sheriffs. It's motivating to see there's potential out there for women to succeed in this employment," said officer Tammie Black.
