Mesa PD Picks Operations Commander As Interim Chief

The Mesa Police Department has picked Vicki Myers as its interim chief to replace George Gascon, who has taken the top job with the San Francisco Police Department, azfamily.com reports.

Myers will oversee the department until a more permanent replacement can be found. The department is conducting a national search. Gascon left the department on June 16.
