The film “Answering the Call: Ground Zero’s Volunteers,” will be released nationwide September 11. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to volunteer police, firefighter, and rescue organizations.
Shot over 16 days and nights behind the yellow tape following the Sept. 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, this documentary tells the stories of a variety of volunteers, both on and off duty, who helped in the aftermath of the disaster.
