Police responded to the trouble Sunday night with rubber bullets, and tear gas to disperse the crowds. Hundreds of extra police officers were assigned to work Sunday. But trouble broke out after the game.

There were 80-85 arrests for a wide range of violations, including driving under the influence. Three Oakland firefighters were treated for minor injuries after people threw bottles and rocks at them.

This was the second straight week that violence occurred after a Raiders game. The previous week, after the team won its spot in the Super Bowl, crowds set fires, broke windows, and threw rocks and bottles along International Boulevard, the site of the violence after the Super Bowl.
