"Rave Parties" is a new publication that offers police departments tips on how to deal with the problems of raves.
The guide, published by the DOJ's Office of Community Policing Services (COPS) discusses methods for analyzing the problem of raves and examines strategies that have been successful in different parts of the country.
"Rave parties represent a complex challenge for American law enforcement," says COPS Director Carl R. Peed. "The safetly of the community and the participants must be protected, but without building walls between the youth and police."
