Unlike most mechanical handgun safety systems that secure the handgun by a form of key-and-lock apparatus, the ZØRE X CORE lock provides handgun owners a sturdy, metal locking mechanism. The device can be unlocked sight-unseen by spinning a combination wheel to the owner’s pre-set code, removing the hassle of searching for a gun lock key. When locked, the ZØRE X CORE mechanically seals the chamber of the handgun and requires the user to rotate a secure knob to the owner’s custom combination sequence. Developed in Israel, the ZØRE X CORE is currently only available for 9mm handguns.
