Broken Shell Extractor
August 01, 2007
Cartridge shell case head separation can ruin any shooting experience. Brownells’ new broken shell extractor allows shooters to easily remove broken cases without losing time. Ideal for AR-15/M16 shooters, the .223 caliber broken shell extractor easily removes over-fired or out-of-spec brass. The tool removes a damaged case from any firearm chambered for either the .223 Remington or 5.56 NATO cartridges. Adjustable for overall length, the compact steel tool completely engages the edge or lip of the case mouth, making it possible for the gun's extractor to pull the Broken Shell Extractor out of the chamber, along with the remains of the case.
