Defense Technology/Federal Laboratories Direct Impact Projectile
October 01, 2004
Defense Technology/Federal Laboratories’ Direct Impact Projectile includes a rigid, crushable foam nose, an aerodynamic external contour, a hollow internal cavity, and a smokeless propulsion system. The available payload options include an inert powder, an OC irritant powder, and a fluorescent green marking compound. When the target is impacted, the nose crushes and the payload disperses, reducing the potential for injury.
