Enhanced Audio’s version 5.15 of the DC LIVE/Forensics Audio Restoration and Enhancement software offers a new feature using DDS (Dynamic Spectral Subtraction) technology. Once found only in the most expensive of hardware solutions, DDS allows technicians to subtract loud ambient non-random noise, such as background music, to clarify audio previously thought to be unusable. Version 5.15 includes Direct X support, MME support for older sound cards, and a new 20-band parametric EQ.
