Professional Quality Printing for Digital Photos

Company:

May 01, 2001

Digital camera technology has become an important tool for law enforcement but hard copies of prints are still an important part of the “picture.” The P-400 High Speed Photo Quality printer from Olympus delivers up to 314 dpi resolution with over 16.7 million colors available!

The P-400 delivers continuous-tone dye-sublimation printing in approximately 90 seconds. This technology allows professional photo prints with accurate color reproduction and high output quality. The control panel built-into the P-400 gives the user the tools necessary to preview an image, select the size or choose the number of copies to print.

The P-400 can be connected directly to a computer or digital camera via any USB port or via parallel port for older machines. For added convenience, the built-in reader on the P-400 can handle SmartMedia Cards or the PC Card slot can be adapted for a wide-range of other media, including Memory Stick, CompactFlash Type I and II and others. Output can be full-size photos, postcard size and even an index sheet with up to 260 pictures, depending upon your specific needs.
