Compact Double-Action Pistol

The 12-45 LDA pistol from Para-Ordnance has the outward appearance of its single-action counterpart, the P12-45. There are, however, several noticeable differences. The trigger is pivoted at the top, similar to the classic Browning High Power; the beavertail grip safety features a palm swell; and the hammer is bobbed, fitting flush with the rear of the slide.

The 12-45 LDA trigger pull, representing a total departure from traditional double-action or double-action-only performance, is light and crisp, with no transition and a consistent pull from the first shot to the last. The 12-45 LDA also incorporates three safety features: a thumb safety that disengages the trigger; a grip safety that locks the hammer assembly and an internal firing-pin-block.
