Kustom Signals, Inc. introduces its new Eyewitness SpeedSynch®, which displays and records patrol car speeds on tape as part of the Eyewitness In-Car Video System. SpeedSync operates by interfacing with the patrol car’s speedometer cable. Using a single wire hookup and small synchronization module, the unit calibrates to the speedometer with a simple push of a button. After calibration SpeedSync uses the speedometer cable reading as its reference for displaying and recording the patrol car’s speed.
