Houston PD Permits Officers to Use Pistol Optics

The department has set some specific rules officers must follow in order to use the pistol optics. They must use Safariland's level III Holster; only optics-ready pistols from specified manufacturers will be accepted; and they must complete an eight-hour training course prior to putting the pistol optics into service.
