Liberty Ammo Ships Out First Hunting Rounds

Liberty Ammunition has begun shipping its first hunting round, the .308 Winchester. Part of the new Animal Instinct line, the .308 Win exits a rifle at 3,500 FPS with a muzzle energy of 2,700 FPE.

The .308 Win is a copper monolithic, fragmenting hollow-point, lead-free hunting round. It represents the next generation of one of the most popular rifle rounds and is ideal for law enforcement, military, hunting, and competitive shooting, according to the company. One box comes with 20 rounds and MSRP is $51.99.
