Charlotte Purchases 1,425 TASER AXON Body-Worn Cameras

TASER has announced that several large AXON cameras orders were received from domestic law enforcement agencies, including 1,425 AXON body and flex cameras for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg (N.C.) Police Department.

Here are more details about the agencies' orders:

  • Charlotte-Mecklenburg (N.C.) Police Department: 1,425 AXON body and flex cameras with five years of EVIDENCE.com and TASER Assurance Plan (TAP), add-on order
  • Tracy (Calif.) Police Department: 104 AXON body and flex cameras with five years of EVIDENCE.com and TAP
  • Muncie (Ind.) Police Department: 93 AXON body and flex cameras with five years of EVIDENCE.com and TAP
  • Newnan (Ga.) Police Department: 73 AXON flex cameras with five years of EVIDENCE.com and TAP
  • El Mirage (Ariz.) Police Department: 38 AXON body and flex cameras with three years of EVIDENCE.com and TAP
  • Sugar (Texas) Land Police Department: 31 AXON body cameras with five years of EVIDENCE.com and TAP
  • Pennsylvania Game Commission: 187 AXON body cameras with five years of EVIDENCE.com
