MAC 1911 Bobcut Pistols Arrive In U.S. Market

The MAC 1911 Bobcut model, which will be available with a deep blue or hard chrome finish, is a single-action, semi-auto compact pistol. The pistol accommodates 8+1 .45 ACP rounds.

Eagle Imports will introduce Metro Arms Corp.'s compact MAC 1911 Bobcut pistols into the U.S. market, the distributor has announced.

The MAC 1911 Bobcut model, which will be available with a deep blue or hard chrome finish, is a single-action, semi-auto compact pistol. The pistol accommodates 8+1 .45 ACP rounds.

The Bobcut is loaded with custom-style features including a flared and lowered ejection port, an enhanced beavertail grip safety, a skeleton hammer and combat trigger, rear slide serrations, a stippled front strap serration, an extended thumb safety, and a throated forged steel barrel (4.25 inches).

Both models have adjustable Novak-type rear sights with a dovetailed fiber-optic front sight. They are outfitted with custom, hardwood grips featuring the MAC logo.

The MAC 1911 pistols, which were developed by competitive shooter Hector Rodriguez, retail for $902 (deep blue) and $978 (hard chrome).
