Eagle Imports will introduce Metro Arms Corp.'s compact MAC 1911 Bobcut pistols into the U.S. market, the distributor has announced.
The MAC 1911 Bobcut model, which will be available with a deep blue or hard chrome finish, is a single-action, semi-auto compact pistol. The pistol accommodates 8+1 .45 ACP rounds.
The Bobcut is loaded with custom-style features including a flared and lowered ejection port, an enhanced beavertail grip safety, a skeleton hammer and combat trigger, rear slide serrations, a stippled front strap serration, an extended thumb safety, and a throated forged steel barrel (4.25 inches).
Both models have adjustable Novak-type rear sights with a dovetailed fiber-optic front sight. They are outfitted with custom, hardwood grips featuring the MAC logo.
The MAC 1911 pistols, which were developed by competitive shooter Hector Rodriguez, retail for $902 (deep blue) and $978 (hard chrome).
