BlackHawk Issues Safety Notice for Serpa Level 3 LBD Holster

BlackHawk has issued a product safety notice regarding the Serpa Level 3 Light Bearing Duty Holster. The notice refers to isolated cases of the holster breaking away from its jacket slot (the interface between holster and belt) due to inserts pulling out of the holster. The causes for this problem have been identified and addressed, according to the company.

Although this condition only affects a limited number of holsters, to prevent future damage from occurring, BlackHawk recommends you replace your holster, and is offering a free upgrade for all owners of Serpa Light Bearing holsters manufactured before October 2011.
