Extreme Shock Releases Copper-Core CT2 Round

April 08, 2010  |

Extreme Shock Ammunition has introduced the improved copper-core CT2 (Copper Training/Tactical) round to expand the CT2 further into the tactical realm, according to the company.

When it was first released, the CT2 was primarily designed to be a training round. In these times of economic hardships, the Extreme Shock team has taken the initiative to produce a more cost-efficient self-defense round.

The bullet is designed to fragment as expansively as the Extreme Shock tungsten core munitions. The tungsten round's heavy, dense core provides long-range performance, according to the company.

The CT2 is fully capable of stopping the threat instantly. It should be noted that the .45 ACP, 150-grain CT2 was tested at a distance of three yards with no exit.
