|
On Oct. 20, the Baldwin County (Ala.) Sheriff's Office will host an FN 303 Less Lethal Launcher Instructor/Armorer Course in Stapleton. Each participant who successfully completes the class will be certified as an FN 303 Less Lethal Launcher instructor and armorer.
All ammunition will be provided by FNH USA. The cost is $195 and participants are required to wear full wraparound eye protection.
Students will learn proper techniques for safe operation, care, cleaning, and deployment of the FN 303 and perform all armorer related maintenance. Those who complete a live-fire qualification course and pass a written exam with a minimum score of 90 percent will earn a certification valid for three years that will allow participants to set policies, procedures, and training to certify FN 303 operators within their agencies.
