Man Killed by Albuquerque SWAT Officers ID'd

The man shot to death early Wednesday at a North Valley home after brandishing a shotgun at Albuquerque officers executing a narcotics warrant has been identified as 40-year-old Lupe Fuentes Jr., the Albuquerque Journal reported this morning.

I don't get it. Why is this a top story on police A dreg of society is dead and the state doesnt have to dole out $30,000 a year to support him.
