Bushmaster Awards Engraved Rifles at CMP Western Games

November 30, 2007  |

The 4th Annual CMP Western Games & Creedmoor Cup High Power Competition Matches were held at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, Ariz., October 20-28. Bushmaster Firearms International sponsored the Creedmoor Cup Awards Banquet and Barbecue on Saturday evening the 27th.

At that event, Creedmoor Cup Match Director Dennis DeMille presented certificates for specially engraved Bushmaster DCM-XR Competition Rifles to the overall champion and the overall junior champion of the Creedmoor Cup Match.

Sgt. Brandon Green won the Creedmoor Cup Match Overall Championship with a high score of 794-39X, and Kathryn Bugg took the Overall Junior Championship with a score of 787-28X. Each was presented a certificate for redemption with their FFL dealers for a Bushmaster DCM-XR Competition Rifle bearing special laser engravings of the Creedmoor Cup and CMP Western Games logos as well as their names.

Bushmaster's Competition Program Coordinator, Jarrod McDevitt, stated, "Bushmaster is pleased to support the competitive shooting sports, especially the Junior Competitors who represent the future of this fine sport. We'll be directing much of our sponsorship toward the Juniors with the hope of bringing along a whole new generation of competitors."
