CHP Investigating San Jose-Area Freeway Shootings

The CHP says that three shootings on Highway 101 near San Jose this week are unrelated. One man was killed and two wounded in the attacks.
CHP Sgt. Les Bishop told the San Francisco Chronicle that the shootings were unrelated. However, he would not elaborate as to why the CHP had come to that conclusion.
It is known from witness accounts that the shooters have used different vehicles. The shooting have occurred along a 50-mile stretch of the freeway.
