The International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA)2006 Conference and Expo is scheduled for April 25–26 in the Chicago suburb of Arlington, Ill.
More than 600 law enforcement instructors from the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and other nations are expected to attend the conference and show. Any member of the law enforcement community will be admitted free of charge for the expo.
The ILEETA International Training Conference offers more than 80 topics of instruction taught by leading police trainers. In addition, ILEETA is offering more than 25 separate instructor certification courses and an M-16/AR-15 armorers course. Tuition for the conference is $295.
One of the most-publicized events at ILEETA is the “World Cop Donut Eating Championship.” The annual tongue-in-cheek competition benefits the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and the ILEETA Scholarship Fund.
