Police say a man involved in robbing a Domino’s Pizza delivery woman in New Castle, Del., later called the victim on his cell phone, apologizing for the crime and asking her out on a date.
The 18-year-old victim wasn’t willing to forget the incident and gave the caller’s cell phone number to police. Officers traced the phone number to Brent Brown, 25, and arrested him. They also arrested Andre Moore, 18, and were looking for a 16-year-old also believed to be linked to the crime.
After searching a residence, police found empty pizza boxes in the trash along with the receipt.
Brown and Moore were charged with second-degree robbery.
