Armor Holdings, Inc. Completes Two Acquisitions: Monadnock(R) Lifetime Products, Inc. & Lightning(R) Powder Company, Inc

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Armor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AH) announced today that it completed two strategic acquisitions for its law enforcement equipment division, Armor Holdings Products. Armor acquired all of the outstanding stock of Monadnock Lifetime Products, Inc. ("Monadnock"), a leading manufacturer and distributor of police batons. In a separate and unrelated transaction, Armor also acquired substantially all of the assets of Lightning Powder Company, Inc. ("Lightning Powder"), a leading manufacturer and distributor of crime scene investigation equipment. "The acquisitions of Monadnock and Lightning Powder continue Armor Holdings' strategy of buying established brands in the law enforcement business that are the leading brands in their particular market segment," said Jonathan Spiller, President and CEO of Armor Holdings, Inc. "We have been watching both of these companies for a long period of time and are excited to add their respective product lines to the Armor Holdings Products portfolio."
