Cor-Bon DPX is a solid 100% copper hollow-point bullet that features a polymer nickel coated case with Ducta-Bright 7a. The nose is reshaped for quicker expansion and to provide deeper penetration. It improves low-light chamber checks and will ease extraction from a dirty chamber. Improvements to the DPX bullets include six cuts all the way through the ogive, meaning longer and sharper petals. These allow the copper bullet to fully expand, doubling the bullet's diameter. According to Cor-Bon, DPX maintains 100% of its weight after going through heavy barriers. DPX is certified lead-free, and can be used in California. www.corbon.com

New Gold Dot G2 from Speer LE is now being delivered to law enforcement dealers. The Gold Dot G2 features exclusive Gold Dot construction and a structural-plated, pressure-formed core. Instead of a large cavity in the nose, Gold Dot G2 has a shallow dish filled with a high-performance elastomer. On impact, the material is forced into specially designed fissures to start the expansion process, as opposed to conventional bullet designs, which need target media to enter the hollow point and create expansion forces. The result is uniform expansion and more consistent penetration across barrier types, gun platforms, and barrel lengths. www.speer-ammo.com
